Cozy little gem! cafe has an incredibly friendly vibe that made me feel right at home. The food, coffee, and drinks were absolutely fantastic. I came back twice within the same hour! The owner was especially welcoming and genuinely interested in hearing what we thought about everything we tried. You can tell they really care about the experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area

Come here. Yes, you can take my word for it. It absolutely a stop worth taking if you live in the area, or are passing through. The Croissandwich is so fresh, crispy, flavourful, and worth the 6$. The Onigir are a great value for 3, and you have a choice of salmon or tuna (canned). Both are delicious and made fresh to order. The Boba Macha looks great and is made with care, and lastly, the Pork Buns (there's a different name for them, and it's eluding me) are piping hot, fresh and so tasty. This little hole in the wall had 2 fantastic humans, Ron & Rica, and they make the store homey. Please help support this small business. Their prices are fair, the quality is great and higher than most places, and their vibe is exactly what I want out of a Cafe. All the best on a fruitful summer ahead, MNT Café. We'll see you again soon.

Splendid coffee! The prices look reasonable too so I'm feeling anxious to try some of their sweets! and the staff was very friendly. It was quiet and not very busy in there, so I daresay let's fix that and give them more of our business!! Cheers!

We love this cute cafe! They have the best croffles - a mix between a croissant and a waffle! There are both sweet and savoury and both are delicious! The bubble tea, iced tea, lemonade and coffee are all amazing! Plus the prices are so very reasonable! Please support a local business! Plus the owner is a sweetheart!

I’ve been on the hunt for Filipino drinks, desserts, and snacks ever since I got back from the Philippines — and MNT TAKAO CAFE hit the spot perfectly. But it’s not just a Filipino gem — it’s an awesome café overall. Great atmosphere, super welcoming and friendly staff, and everything is really affordable. Whether you're craving something nostalgic or just looking for a cozy spot with great vibes and unique offerings, this place is a must-visit.

We found them at the Campbell River Farmers' Market event. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the halo-halo taste really good! We also tried their good morning sunburst drink as well as their siomai - they're good as well. We got the siomai for free Maybe next time we'll try to visit their shop and other menu options - will update this review!
